Committees & Fundraisers

Each year, our club takes on many activities to support our community. The following are a list of our committees with the activities we support under each one.

ARTS: Band Camp Scholarship

  A $100 Scholarship is given to a PCHS Band member to help with the cost of attending Band Camp.

CONSERVATION: Park Cleanup, Hospice Memorial Garden

  A clean-up day will be held at Dehart Park in the spring, as well as helping with the Hospice Memorial Garden, which will be located at Dehart Park.

EDUCATION: PCHS Scholarship

  A $500 Scholarship is given to a PCHS Senior who plans to attend college.

HOME LIFE: Christmas Cheer, Developmental Center

  Each Christmas our club adopts 3-4 needy families and provides Christmas presents to the families. We provide "goody bags" to the clients of the PC Developmental Center for each holiday during the year.

INTERNATIONAL: Supplies for Soldiers

  We select a local soldier, who is stationed in Iraq and provide his/her troop with a care package.

PUBLIC AFFAIRS: Car Seat/Booster Program, Lee National

Denim Day, St. Judes Card Front Program

  We plan to hold a Car Seat/Booster Check to ensure children are being properly restrained. We participate in Lee National Denim Day, which raises money for Breast Cancer Research. We collect greeting card fronts and send them to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which raises money for the hospital.
